Abstract
Influence of solvent and type of hardener on the rate of cross-linking of epoxy resins. Solvents with carbonyl groups decrease the rate while hydroxy and chlorine groups cause an increase. A mixture of ethanol and toluene is considered the most suitable for impregnation.
