Abstract
The amount of epoxy resin in sandstone correlates with the impregnation time, the concentration of resin in solution, and the pressure; penetrated resin increases with impregnation time and resin concentration and with decreasing pressure. A hypothesis was suggested that the motion of the liquid into the porous stone is controlled not only by capillary powers but also by diffusion.
