Abstract
The effects of humidity, aging, annealing, and tensile loads on the torsional damping properties of wool fibers were studied. Torsional damping increased with humidity and decreased with aging and annealing. Applied stress and tensile loading produced changes in torsional damping possibly related to mechanical de-aging of the wool fiber matrix. -- AATA
