The bundle and single fiber tensile properties of a large number of mohair lots were examined. Both bundle and single fiber tenacity were independent of the mohair fiber linear density (or fineness) and values considered typical for mohair were arrived at. The initial modules were found to decrease slightly as the mohair became coarser. -- AATA
