Abstract
A large proportion of all the gloves manufactured in the United States come from this place, and most of the skins used are dressed here. The largest glove manufacturers are Berry & Allen, Hickok & Son, Allen Churchill, Daniel Judson, Daniel Hays and James B. Farth. Some tan their own skins using cod oil, and the process is described.
