Abstract
The appearance and properties of chrome tanned leathers finished with anionic and non-ionic acrylic resins were related to the amount of emulsifier present, the pH of the emulsion, and the polymer solids content of the emulsion. Tests were conducted at pH 2.7-6.5% emulsifier and 43% resin solids. The fatliquoring treatment was also varied.
