The paper describes a computer-assisted study of a collection of 700 leafpoints from European Paleolithic sites. The aim is to determine automatically the dominant classes of leafpoint for each site and to compare assemblage for different sites. Classification is by weighted pair group means cluster analysis, based on quantitative parameters. Profiles were defined by Fourier analysis as well as other methods. -- AATA
