Abstract
Characteristics of the new E-6 Ektachrome with Kodachrome 25 and 64 are compared, including color rendition, graininess and long-term stability. Results indicate that they are about equal in color rendition, that the Kodachromes hold an edge in fine grain capabilities and in long-term color stability. While the new Ektachrome is cited as an improvement over older versions, a plea is made to continue manufacture of Kodachrome color film.
