Abstract
In 1978, a group of scientists gathered to examine a linen shroud, believed to be the shroud of Jesus of Nazareth. Photography, x-radiography, x-ray fluorescence, macrophotography with computer image enhancement, and particulate sampling were the techniques used to determine the authenticity of the image and how it was formed. Results are inconclusive. See <i>AATA 17-875, 17-1205, 17-1267, 17-1284, 17-1288, and 17-1309. -- AATA
