Large brass chandeliers, largely of the middle of the 19th century (but two probably early Baroque), corroded considerably due to the fluctuating humidity of the South Moravian climate. X-ray examination revealed metal fatigue of the structure, and the fissures were mended by welding and soldering. The surfaces, after their degreasing, were protected by a transparent lacquer CSNC 1019.
