This article describes various applications of automatic titrimeters in the general work of an analytical laboratory. Observations are made on a) the determination of nitrogen and chlorine in polymers, b) the titrimetric determination of iron and aluminum, c) the determination of water in organic compounds, d) the determination of formaldehyde by the neutral sulphite method, e) the detection of Terylene, f) the determination of nylon 610 salt in moist material and g) the determination of aldehydes and ketones in methyl methacrylate monomer.
