Regional conservation centers for the treatment of specific materials in addition to normal capabilities may be expected to develop or teams of conservators comprising different skills and experience. Courses in the technology of conservation will appear in university curriculums to establish a dialogue between curators and conservators. Data-retrieval systems making use of the computer and the development of a more precise terminology will become indispensable. The objectives of the National Conservation Advisory Council are stated.
