A method is developed for spectrographic investigation of Cu-base archeological finds. Place drillings from the specimen in the crater of a C electrode and excite with an a.c. arc of anodic polarization. Establish the spectra by using a spccial slit distributor with a 2-step filter. Visually compare the spectra to establish standards. The method makes it possible to classify archeological finds and to draw conclusions about their age, origin, etc. -- AATA
