Describes the quantitative analysis of the results of neutron activation applied to sherds of Greek pottery. The resulting estimation of concentrations of twelve trace elements is subjected to principal components analysis. On the basis of the groupings suggested, and independent archaeological evidence, three different clay sources seem probable. -- AATA
