Abstract
Recent structural modifications to the 18th-century banneret weather vane of Old South Meeting House in Boston, Massachusetts, required the cooperation of conservator, curator, and craftsman. The conservator's responsibility was to insure that all modifications did not exceed the ethical considerations outlined in the AIC Code of Ethics and Standards of prac-tice.
