Abstract

The stability of the whiteness of wool fabric bleached with reducers is tested with various processes. The samples were more sensitive to steaming, heating, and acidic dyeing than the unbleached wool, but less sensitive to washing and exposure to Xenotest. The behavior of wool bleached with hydrogen peroxide is compared with that of the test samples.
