The industrial architecture exhibition named “the Southern Factories” serves the purpose of exhibiting the industrial heritage of Andalucia. This exhibition is integrated in the programme of recuperation of industrial architectural heritage, promoted by the Regional Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, which has been developed in the last few years. This field of intervention regards, as an objective, the establishment of a starting point of knowledge, study and reflection concerning the value and potential of the most known examples of the industrial architecture of this region.
