Abstract
Two recent explosions resulting from a pressure build-up are thought to be due to reaction between aluminum and chlorinated solvents, when compositions containing these solvents have been sprayed in equipment containing aluminum parts. Some spray equipment manufacturers have issued notices warning against this possible hazard. -- AATA
