Abstract
The Shuffled Complex Evolution method (SCE-UA) has been used to calibrate a transient state attic model. Experimental data on an attic of a residential family home, as well as the seven parameters selected from the attic model have been used for this calibration process. The good agreement between the predictive air attic temperature and the experimental results demonstrates the quality of such model.
