Abstract
Restoration report of polychrome wood statue. Thin section microscopy examination allowed the removal of repaintings. Consolidation of the wood was acheived under vacuum in a polyethylene foil by impregnation with acrylic resin. Retouching and finishing was accomplished with bees wax and dammar resin.
