The results of 15-year investigations aiming at a conscious controlling the quality of produced lignomer depending on needs are presented in the paper. The examples quoted in the paper prove that by selection of appropriate kind of wood, its humidity, kind of monomers and composition of initiators of the polymerization as well as by selection of parameters of imbibition and thermal treatment one can to a certain extent affect the conscious formation of definite properties of lignomer.
