Abstract
The paper is dedicated to an analysis of design and usage of a solar chimney in the system of natural ventilation in a building. Based on the calculation algorithm is predicted heat and aerodynamic mode for the particular constructive solution of solar chimney. Results of the theoretic average intensity of area ventilation with air volume of 285 m3 obtained by using the solar chimney are represented in figures. The most valuable data is from the period of hot summer months when conventional systems of natural ventilation fail.
