Abstract
Two from of the three most important finite energy resources (energy, water, food) are related to the commissioning of the water supply system. We can do a lot for energy- and water management sustainability, with careful design. There are two facts: 20% of the total electrical energy consume is used to operate the pumps and the pump’s systems are working with partial working load during their operation hours. These circumstances are indicate more and more use of the automatic RPM-controlled pumps in the HVAC because with these application the power intake of the pumps can be adjusted to the all time demand and we can achieve energy savings as well. Department of HVAC, at Pecs has a research discipline on the react of the pump’s control systems for the fast varying consumers demand and the small loaded operations. We also make a comparison between the different controlling systems.
