Abstract
An incense burner made of silver was badly damaged by an accident and improperly restored by soldering the broken parts with tin. It was decided to leave these parts as they were and to replace them with galvanoplastic copies. The copies were made of copper and silvered. The original parts and the copies were connected and protected for further use by a layer of acrylic lacquer.
