Abstract
Baker believes that the use of sunlight to bleach paper (while it is in a buffered aqueous solution of magnesium bicarbonate or calcium hydroxide) is the safest and easiest method to reduce staining and discoloration; she describes the basic procedure for that process as well as modifications for artificial light, (using GE 100 watt F84 PG17-CW Power Groove Cool White fluorescent lamps).
