Data gathering is an essential step for any analysis. In order to dispose of a frame of reference, four palaeocarpologic experiments are discussed in this article. They concern the sampling of sediment collecting and the method of palaeo-seeds retrieval. By classifying the recovery methods it appears that sieving under water and flotation are the more suitable techniques. -- AATA
