The first presents the case for corrosion monitoring and gives advice on selecting the most suitable technique for a particular application. The second deals in detail with the characteristics, scope and use of the various monitoring techniques available to the engineer. The text was prepared by four corrosion specialists with considerable and varied experience in the use of corrosion monitoring, and with close contacts with many others working in the field. It is believed to be the first comprehensive, in-depth, authoritative treatment of the subject.
