Abstract
Absorption, tensile strength and elongation tests were performed to arrive at some conclusions concerning; 1) the difference of absorption time encountered when applying glycerol or sorbitol to aged and new leathers; and 2) the effect of the humectant treatment on the leather's elasticity.
