A method involving boiling hand woven wool to produce a felted fabric for clothing is presented. Boiled woven wool has the advantage of being stronger and more uniform in thickness than handmade felt. The fabric also holds its shape without interfacings or linings and cuts cleanly without fraying or raveling. The selection of yarns, determining sett, warp length, and width, preparing the fabric, and constructing a garment are described. -- AATA
