A description is given of the steps taken to clean fragile copper objects from the Etowah site, and to eliminate malignant patina or bronze disease. The objects were electrolyzed, well washed, and coated with lacquer. Many of the objects are illustrated and the probable sources of metal and method of manufacture are discussed. -- AATA
