Abstract
Analysis of a series of pollen samples and artifacts from prehistoric sites in the Pecos River Valley of New Mexico, dated from 9001250 A.D., show correlations between major pollen groups and artifacts of bone, chipped stone and pottery. Changes in the pollen record correspond to changes in the type of artifact found and are due to cultural changes. -- AATA
