Discussed here are the sandstones and quartz fragments found in the mountains of Bohemia-Moravia (Czech Republic) between 460 and 640 meters of elevation. Colors, grain sizes, geological origins, and relative quantities of each kind of stone found are covered. Long-term weathering effects on the areas are reviewed.
