Abstract
An eight century bc table recovered from a tomb in 1957 was conserved in 1982. It had been impregnated with wax after recovery. The wax was removed, the wood cleaned, and the wood impregnated with a synthetic resin. A support was provided and the table was prepared for display. -- ICCROM
