Karen Finch and Sue Giles of the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery organized a visit to about half a dozen museums, a research center, the conservation departments at the Old Town in Aarhus, and the Department of Ethnography and Social Studies at Moesgaard. Observations were made regarding the repair of damaged skin on an Eskimo leather drum and storage facilities for ethnographic and textile collections. Safety considerations for the use of climate control systems and chemical products are also discussed.
