In order to improve the information service to the public, the National Library of Australia has created subject libraries as follows:ANSTEL-Australian National Scientific & Technological Library ANSOL-Australian National Social Sciences Library ANHUL-Australian National Humanities Library The role of the Conservation Laboratory of the National Library is discussed in relation to these library information structures.
