An up-to-date review of methods covering destruction of such organisms, protection of the wood against the attack of such organisms and preventing later attack. Treatment in situ of decayed wooden parts, formulations for poisonous liquids, elimination of excessive humidity, and a classification of all factors involved in the matter of biodeterioration and control are discussed.
