A recent find included metal objects which appear to have involved two techniques found previously in South America but not in Mexico: the hammering or pressing of a series of sheet gold ornaments over a model, and decorative spirals of worked rather than cast gold wire. The probable methods of manufacture are discussed in detail. -- AATA
