A list of colorants is classified for toxicity based on their acute peroral LD50 value, applying the criteria stated by the sixth amendment of the EEC Directive 79/831. The list includes the C.I. generic name and number, concentration of the active ingredient, toxicological data, and recommended labeling for each product. -- AATA
