The historical development of measurement of textile moisture through its electrical conductivity, the residual moisture range of natural and synthetic fibers, and the precision of electrical moisture measurement methods are discussed, considering microwaves, infrared absorption, radiometrical processes, and temperature measurement of the textile goods. -- AATA
