Abstract
Weight losses during cleaning with chemical, electrolytic or electro-chemical methods are compared, sodium carbonate dissolving the minimum amount of lead. Surface coatings peroxide proved to be efficient. Effect of chemicals on further corrosion. Preservation of lead carbonate surface by consolidative reduction useful only in special cases.
