More than 94% of all English-language photographic journals published prior to 1880 were scanned for this bibliography of 1,100 entries; photographic manuals and patent literature are included where appropriate. Each entry contains bibliographical information, keywords, original source references, and an abstract. Information is readily accessible according to subject headings with entries listed chronologically; author, journal, and keyword indices facilitate use of the bibliography.
