Describes where, in paper conservation processes, hazardous materials are met with; processes reviewed include fumigation, the cleaning of paper (drycleaning, solvent cleaning, washing, bleaching), enzyme treatments, the re-sizing of paper, deacidification, paper spot testing, fixatives, adhesives, seal repair and reproduction.
