Abstract
Two acrylic resins, paraloid B72 and B44, were tested in order to evaluate their consolidant effect on marble. The most satisfactory results were obtained for both resins dissolved in chlorothene; a concentration of 10% and application by capillarity seemed to be advisable. The depth of penetration was judged by baking at 350°C. See also AATA 19-1790.
