Abstract
A 35% solution of methyl tri-ethoxy silane proved very effective for the treatment of de-teriorated roof tiles. The water absorption was measured and durability assessed by boil-dry and freeze-thaw cycles. One year of natural exposure did not change their appearance. See also AATA 18-1518 and 19-1790.
