Abstract
The main properties of a soft sandstone impregnated with ethyl silicates or poly(methyl methacrylate) are determined. The composite materials show better mechanical strength, less water absorption and water expansion. The impregnation technique does not considerably affect the results. See also AATA 19-1790.
