Abstract
A simulation apparatus was used in order to obtain a semi-quantitative relationship between the rainfall acidity in a polluted atmosphere and the corrosion of monuments of marble. The results showed that there is not a sharp increase of corrosion before pH 4. See also AATA 19-1790.
