Abstract
Ninety percent of sulphur compounds are in the first millimeter of stone. Temperature and RH measurements, and simulation of condensation show that sulphur uptake may be quantified by use of a stone plate in proximity to the wall. It is likely that the uptake is in salt and not in acid form. See also AATA 19-1790.
