Abstract
Wooden beams and columns in old wooden houses have decayed and insects damaged portions inside in spite of their good appearance. Restoration treatments of such damaged beams and columns in two old private houses, one being in Tottori prefecture and the other in Miyagi prefecture, use several synthetic resins including epoxy and urethane resins.
