Abstract
As part of an extensive program to evaluate the influence of atmospheric contaminants on stone deterioration, an air pollution monitoring project was undertaken at the Old Custom House. The building was instrumented to detect gaseous pollutants and solid particulates. Also included in the study was an evaluation of a specialized air pollution monitor from Germany.
