Vibrations from building demolition near the Science Museum of Minnesota caused hairline cracks in a massive specimen, the mounted skeleton of a triceratops. The museum supported much of the weight on a temporary padded frame until the work causing the damage was completed. Then the museum repaired the bones by injecting a modified epoxy structural adhesive, details of which are given. Points of contact between permanent supports and the skeleton were padded with neoprene rings to minimize the transmission of future vibrations.
